Founder, Grej of the Day · Educator · Author · TEDx Speaker
Micke is a global educator, author and TEDx speaker. He is the creator of Grej of the Day, the micro-lesson concept that has travelled from one classroom in Sweden to educators, communities and organisations around the world. He is also the mind behind a proven approach to turning presentations from boring to brilliant. We handle his speaking, training, publishing and licensing conversations across the region and into new markets.
As the official representative for Micke Hermansson and Grej of the Day across India, the Middle East and new markets, every enquiry in the region, whether a keynote, a school programme, a publishing deal or a platform licence, is handled by our team in Delhi NCR, India. We manage the brief, the commercials, the scheduling and the follow-through, so you have one point of contact rather than a distant calendar.
Micke has already spoken twice in India. This is the next chapter of that work, and we are building it partner by partner.
Micke Hermansson taught in northern Sweden from 1987 to 2016. In 2010 he created Grej of the Day for a class of ten-year-olds. The concept has since reached classrooms, corporates, parliaments, publishers and research labs across continents, and now reached Indian shores.
Grej means “thing” in Swedish. Grej of the Day is a seven-minute micro-lesson that starts the day before, with a clue. It fits into any timetable, which makes it straightforward to adopt at scale. It is a proven, portable curiosity-led learning format that can be adapted across learning and corporate environments, books, media, edtech, entertainment and multimedia formats. Choose your sector and we’ll show you what a partnership could look like.
A clue goes home. Families start guessing over dinner, and the class arrives already arguing about the answer.
The day beforeA true story told with images only, ending on a fact surprising enough to be worth repeating.
Morning, 7–8 minutesStudents retell the story at home, from memory. One of the most reliable ways to make knowledge stick.

Inspiration days, practical workshops and school programmes that have teachers running Grej of the Day the very next morning. Also used in special education, with a preschool pilot running in Sweden.
Eighteen titles across Europe, with translation and territory rights available for regional publishers, along with new editions and workbook series built for local readers.
A daily clue-and-reveal format that suits edtech platforms, media, games and broadcast. Microsoft Minecraft Education has already built a Grej of the Day avatar and integrated the pedagogical micro-lesson format into the game. Spotify is currently working with Micke to build a content bank around learning and education.
NEP 2020 asks for teaching that is experiential, inquiry-driven and, in its own words, enjoyable.
Grej of the Day does that with a teacher, a story and seven minutes a day. But education is only the entry point.
What begins with a clue at night and a reveal in the morning can become much more: a classroom practice, a corporate learning experience, a book, an app, a podcast, a game or a piece of digital content. The underlying habit stays the same: spark curiosity, create anticipation and make people want to know more.
And it works beyond the classroom. The same principle that engages a ten-year-old can engage a professional, an audience or a community.
India brings an unusual breadth of possibilities, across education, publishing, media, technology and entertainment, and across many languages. Tell us where you see the possibility, and we’ll explore it with you.
Keynotes for conferences and companies. Training for teachers and schools. Partnerships, publishing and licensing for Grej of the Day. Or simply an open question. Tell us what you have in mind. A few lines are enough to get the conversation started. We’ll get in touch within two working days.
